Orange Shirt Day
Yesterday was Orange shirt day. We had a special presentation from Miss Harmony. Our community walk went well and I believe we all have a strong understanding of what orange shirt day means. Mrs. Craig read a story about indigenous heroes this afternoon.
In writing today we worked through a writing checklist. We have 10 different writing boxes to complete in October. Ask me what I completed today.
In Math we filled in the empty spots of addition problems. There were 3 different levels of questions.
Eg. 33+ ___ = 45
In Science we started hearing and sound. We made a poster together about different sounds in our environment. They copied the poster in their Science journals.
Spelling words this week:
red: you, go, us, can, is
Green: much, who, with, take, Fall
Blue: would, should, gardening, culture, hibernate
We had library today. Remember to bring your book back on Mondays.
